How the NuStair Stair Refinishing System Works
You choose from our selection of pre-finished stair treads and risers, creating the look you want from our offerings of premium hardwoods. Each piece is made in America by Amish craftsman, so you get only the best, most attractive stair parts on the market.
Once you receive your NuStair stair refinishing system, just follow the simple installation steps for a beautiful new staircase for a fraction of the cost:

Trim all stair parts to size.

Install the first pre-finished tread, covering it with a urethane-based adhesive.

Secure the first stair tread by nailing the back edge, which will be disguised by the padded riser.

Install the first set of shims, bracing the bottom shim against the stair tread.

Install the first riser with the cut edge up and the factory edge against the stair tread.
-
Trim the top stair tread to match up to the carpet.
-
Repeat steps 2-5 until you’ve completed your staircase transformation.
